Last week Owen's preschool class went to the Sweet's Candy Factory for a field trip. We saw how all of their candy was made and had an orange stick and a piece of taffy right off the assembly line. YUMMY!! The room they apply the chocolate covering smelled heavenly and was definitely my favorite part! I want my house to smell like that! They gave each of the kids their own bag of taffy at the end of the tour, including Sam who
exclaimed "WOW!" (A little word he picked up in Disneyland.) What a fun day!

We all had to wear hair nets!

Owen & his best buddy Mason

Even Sam had to wear the hair net! In his effort to take it off, he saw the majority of the candy factory like this!

Sam is a crack up. I love the net over his head...Owen looks like he feels much better than last time we saw him. Emma
I love that picture of both of them and Sam looks adorable! I want a chocolate pipe in my house as well as the smell!
What a fun trip, but the other reason you may feel drawn to Sweets Candy Factory is that Jenn's Great Grandfather Gibson worked there for many years until he retired. He always had candy and candy stories to tell us. It was years before I could eat a black jelly bean!
Oh, Man, I would LOVE some fresh chocolate right about now! Just reading your post made me crave some!
Mmmmm....chocolate.....
I've heard that the entire town of Hershy, PA smells like chocolate. Do you think that's true?
Sorry...total tangent. ;o)
I've heard that place is fun. I bet that the teachers loved that you went along to help herd the kids around all the tempting candy.
I love the view Sam took! Funny.
It will be fun to see you Monday!
How cute! I bet that was a fun field trip to tag along on! My favorite part would be the sampling! I love Sams hair cap. What a funny boy!
