Last night, we went to Dee's in Bountiful with my parents for a little hot fudge sundae. After loading our kids up with their sugary goodness, we headed back to our car. We got our kids all buckled in. I went to get in myself and heard Brad saying "Someone smashed the window!" Our passenger side window was shattered leaving glass everywhere and our diaper bag was gone. Might I add that it was our SUNDAY diaper bag. The only thing the jerk took home on this particular theft was a bag full of the following:
1 Book of Mormon Reader
1 I Am A Child of God picture book
2 Feel and Learn Animal books
3 coloring books
1 set of crayons
A few Matchbox cars
1 bag of crumbled fruit loops
1 dirty sippy cup
A few stray fruit snacks that we picked up off the floor after sacrament meeting
Serves them right! :) They didn't stick around long enough to find the cash I keep in the center consul or the i-Pod in the glove box. Just a bag full of stories about Jesus. I believe that is referred to as "bad karma!"
This morning our window is fixed and I'm loading up a new bag for church which I won't be leaving in the car again anytime soon.

That is the second post I have read in a week about a car window being broken in, kid's bag being stolen, and more valuable items being left behind. Crazy.
I am sorry that happened to you. My car got broken in to twice last year and it made me so mad! The second the stupid thieves stole yarn.
It's very ironic that he got the sunday bag! Glad he did'nt get anything too important! What an idiot!
That had be laughing! Not that you had to buy a new window-but that Karma so works! Maybe this will be the turning point in his life...you may have just saved a mans soul ;)
On another note-I will accually be in Bountiful (again) next week...I would love to get together, maybe Thursday or Friday. Talk to you later!
Ha! Love it!
Hah. That is hilarious! (Not that you had to replace your window of course, but the fact that he stole a church bag)...
That happened in good old Bountiful huh...?
Ah, burglary. Doesn't it feel great? :) I'm glad nothing worse happened!
That's crazy, Jenn. It does serve them right. Someone recently smashed my Dad's car window and stole my Mom's makeup purse sitting on the seat. Luckily they didn't stick around long enough to steal the spare key in the glove box!
